Looking for BOMA Sustainable Operations Series (SOS) Webinars?

BOMA International and Buildings Magazine present BOMA Educational Webinars

The BOMA Educational Webinar Series

In 2008, BOMA International offered a series of ten 90-minute webinars that provide timely information, best practices and live Q & A with expert speakers for industry practitioners. Several webinars addressed some of the industry’s most pressing concerns, including issues such as handling tenant improvements and managing an aging building. There is no more cost-effective way to gather the most critical industry intelligence.

All of these webinars are available on demand by clicking the "Purchase Here" buttons. Registration fees are $125/members and $175 for nonmembers.

Managing Tenant Improvements

With construction costs at near record highs, tenant build outs can quickly become an expensive enterprise. This webinar offers key points for managing the process from start to finish — while maintaining your budget, your calm and, ultimately, a good relationship with your new tenant.

Speaker:
Charlie Dismore, CCIM, CFM, CPM, FMA, RPA, has specialized in managing and leasing large real estate portfolios comprised of commercial and corporate office, industrial, retail and multi-family properties for well-known national firms including Trammell Crow, Compass Management and Leasing, and Lincoln Property Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a master's degree in Political Science, five industry designations, and a real estate broker's license. Charlie has been an active Project Manager for over 25 years, with construction group and oversight responsibilities including new buildings as well as tenant finish projects both in military and civilian assignments, representing both owners and tenants. He is a nationally recognized authority in commercial and corporate real estate, specializing in property operations, project management, leasing and marketing. He may be contacted through his web site at www.CharlieDismore.com.

Geoff Craighead, CPP, BSCP, heads up Securitas Security Services USA, Inc.'s High-Rise and Real Estate Security Services, which provides support for the many high-rise facilities that Securitas services throughout the United States. He has been involved in the security and life safety operations of industrial and high-rise facilities for over twenty years. He has conducted extensive security surveys and training programs, developed security policies and procedures, and written building emergency plans. Geoff is a member of the ASIS Board of Directors and a member of the BOMA Greater Los Angeles Board of Directors. A past chair of the ASIS Commercial Real Estate Council, 2005-2006, he serves on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA International)'s High-Rise Building Safety Advisory Committee.
